Review: Boxycharm December Box

This is probably the most excited I've ever been to review a subscription service because just look at these products! Boxycharm sent me this month's box which is themed "Jingle Belles" for obvious reasons, and I can't wait to tell you guys how satisfied I am with my first month's items! Read more for mini reviews and my overall thoughts on my first experience with Boxycharm!

If you haven't heard of this particular subscription box, here's an overview straight from the website:
"BOXYCHARM is a beauty box subscription that surprises you each month with the best beauty products from popular and chic brands. From nail care, to the hottest hair products, to the top skin care and cosmetics, we’ll have your head-to-toe beauty needs covered!

Each month, subscribers receive a box filled with full size and luxury size beauty samples from our team’s preferred well-known brands. Our dedicated team of experts will carefully select the top products that will enhance your current beauty collection and inspire creativity."

If the words "full size beauty products" didn't reel you in, I don't know what will because you only pay $21 for items worth over $110! Here are the exact prices for December's items:

Now on to the products!

Coastal Scents: Revealed Palette ($39.95)
I don't know about everyone else, but this one got me excited the most. I mean... a full-sized palette with 20 neutral shades that can arguably be dupes for the ever so acclaimed Naked eyeshadows? Heck yes! It originally retails for $39.95, but it's actually on sale right now for only $12 on the Coastal Scents website, so grab it now because it's totally worth it. I'll definitely do a full blown review on this palette, so stay tuned for that!

Lina Eyelashes ($30)
I've heard nothing but great things about mink eyelashes, so it was quite exciting to receive my first pair considering how crazy expensive they are for falsies. However, these are a bit too dramatic for my taste, but I'm sure I'll find a reason to wear them in the future.

Mistura Beauty Retractable Beauty Brush ($19.99)

I've actually never heard of this brand before, but any cosmetic brush included in a beauty box is very much appreciated. I've tried this out once and absolutely loved it. It's super fluffy, so it's perfect for applying blush or even a soft contour. It's also travel-friendly since it's retractable! You can find it here if you want to check it out!

Be a Bombshell Lip Crayon ($14)

If you're just tuning in, lippies are some of my biggest beauty obsessions, but this one is definitely my least favorite item in the box. Since I'm all about the mattes and natural reds/pinks, this is clearly way too bright and shimmery for me, but I guess I can try it out for spring and summer.

Eva NYC: Hold Me Tight Hairspray ($10)

Lastly, here's the only travel-sized product in the box. My favorite hair mask/deep conditioner is by Eva NYC, so I was absolutely thrilled to try out something else from their line. I'm not a huge fan of the strong floral scent of this hairspray, but it maintained my curls the whole day so I'd say it works well for what it is. You can find more of their hair care products here

Ultimately, all the products add up to $114, which is an insane value for the $21 you pay for! If there's any subscription service that I'd honestly recommend, I'd go with Boxycharm because the values for full size products can't get any better than this. If you're interested, click this link to subscribe: http://www.boxycharm.com/dec-subscription-products.html! It's free shipping and you can easily unsubscribe if you're ever unsatisfied with your box.

I hope you enjoyed this review and I'll catch you in my next one (which will be up tonight)! Happy New Year's Eve!
